We are living in a world where conformity and lack of personal identity has become the norm. If you don’t think like everyone else is are an extremist especially if you as a Christian dare to stand for what is holy and righteous, you are considered to be an individual who doesn’t follow the trends.
The Bible calls us to be different to be Holy and to walk in the Spirit. We are called to stand out for God and to maintain integrity as a child of God.
Knowing who you are and whose you are is critical to being true self. Being different in a holy and righteous way is not wrong.
Being true to your Faith and Convictions is not a bad thing. Allowing yourself to be pressured to unholy conformity in order to belong is a denial of your true self and identity.
Stand out in integrity and stsy dedicated to the things that make you unique. You are wonderfully and amazingly created by God – Psalm 139 vs. 12 – 17.
Being true to Christ who is living in you in your marketplace is not wrong. Let your light shine in this dark world and avoid being compromising your self in order to belong.
Dare to be different in a good way and ensure that you are at the same time accommodating of journey and change process of others. Resolve to be the change you pray for.
