Romans 8:18 (KJV)
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
One of the fundamental of scriptural testimony of its self is that of Inerrancy. Meaning that the Bible is incapable of Error. It can’t be a source of falsehood or be a source of misinformation or misleading content. It therefore, implies that we can TRUST the Bible. We can depend on it and apply its principles in our lives knowing that it is consistent with all that is good and godly.
So the above scripture underscores that we are faced with suffering and challenges. It presents suffering and challenges as a human thing and that we irrespective of class or social standing do have challenges. But, it also presents TRUTH about the fact that there is a glorious outcome in all that we go through. So we are called upon to make a choice of focus. Do we focus on the present suffering or do we focus on the Glory that is to come? I believe that if on daily basis we try and keep our minds on the promised outcome and see that God is able to do what He promised, then strength to go through is released upon us.
I come along side you today and just want to say, you can make it. God is on your side. The battle is won. Stay focused on the Glory. Be resolved to engage in the fight for victory is granted. Be open to the inner voice of strength within you. God never starts what He does not intend to finish. And you are His purpose and you are His child.
Shalom,
Apostle Morgan!
