Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
There are many things in life that brings joy to people or makes them happy. Often than none, people are joyful over accomplishments and successful ventures. But hardly do you see people especially Christians being joyful over the Truth that their names are written in The Lambs Book of Life. Which is another way of saying – they have immortality with God.
They are saved and known by God. Of all the things we rejoice over this is the greatest. Jesus said to His disciples that they ought not to rejoice because the Devil’s are subject to them. Think about it, how many times do Christians go wide in joyful jubilation over demons being cast out of someone? Not that it is not worth thanking God for delivering those who were in bondage of darkness but let keep it simple. Your Greatest Miracle is your Salvation. In this rejoice. In this be glad. In this intentionally thank God daily that you are saved. Be joyful over the Truth that God knows you. You are not a stranger to Him. And you will spend eternity in His presence.
