Love is Our Culture

1 Corinthians 13:1 (KJV)

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Some things ought to be our hallmark in life as those whose lives are now in Christ if indeed we are in Him. Every kingdom has cultures and principles that govern life and interactions within that kingdom. Even so, in the kingdom of God of which we are a living expression of it here on earth. We must not only recognize the importance of representation but also of impact. Meaning that who we are and how we live practically affects the testimony of the kingdom we represent.

Think about it! The first impression people have of you goes a long way to what they think of you and where you are from. Having mystery in life and failing in matters of the Kingdom is indeed a true failure. Love is central to our King’s culture and principle. We ought to live by it. It must be what we are clothed within our daily interactions with people within and outside the Kingdom. We must understand that it is the way of life for each one who has and who is professing Christ.

There are many benefits to living a life of love:

  1. It is the highest form of witness to the world.
  2. It opens the doors of peace wherever it is expressed genuinely.
  3. It attracts people to the individual who expresses it and positions such a person to be an influence for God.
  4. It heals wounds and hurts irrespective of how deep it may be.
  5. It is the language that everyone understands and when spoken, it brings people together.
  6. When it is in a family, such a family prospers and is protected from all forms of evil.

So, remember that you are called to bear the fruit of love. Allow the Holy Spirit to produce it within you. You have no excuse for not loving. It is a choice. Choose to love and love as Christ did. Loving people is not being foolish.

Love works with wisdom and understanding. Love is of God and those who speak the language of love, live in God. You are commanded to be fruitful and fruitful you are, for the power of the curse has been broken.

Shalom,

Apostle Morgan.
