God Commands us to LOVE one another

Romans 13:10 (KJV)

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

We seek it and are drawn to it as humans. It is the hallmark of genuine relationships. Those who live by its standards make a lot of difference in the world. It is the very nature of God. We are called and commanded to live by it. It is spoken of as the only hallmark of being a follower of Jesus Christ. We have been shown practically what it means to live by it. We all have the capacity for it but not all of us truly outlive it even to ourselves nor to others. It is pure in nature. Holy in motive.

It is something that when and if offered genuinely, no one rejects it. Those who live by it distinguish themselves by its demands of sacrifice. It heals wounds and hurts. It restores relationships. It mends brokenhearted people and gives no second chances because it doesn’t keep accounts of wrongs. It is more than feelings. It is unconditional. It sets out to honor God and those to whom it is shown. It is the language that everyone understands but not everyone chooses to speak it even when they can do so.

Its focus is on others and it expresses itself through the one who gives it. Do you know what am talking about? LOVE!!!!!!!!. It is the only virtue that endures forever. Give it to others and you will be at peace with yourself. Express it to those undeserving of it, you will win them over to your side. Show it to people around you and you would have made a difference in their lives. Give it to yourself and you will be happy and full of joy.

Hold it back and you will experience frustration and pains. So why don’t you live out the capacity of love within you? Why do we select and choose who we show love to? What is it about love that we are afraid of that hinders us from loving ourselves and others? Oh the joy of those who love one another and who love themselves. There is no wrongdoing when love “Agape” is involved. You can love, choose to love. You are blessed and highly favored.

Shalom,

Apostle Morgan.
