Proverbs 3:3-4 (KJV)Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: [4] So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
There are defining elements of the Life of a Believer, such as Mercy and Truth. They are defining because such virtues are necessary in our daily interaction with life and people. We are called to be merciful, meaning we are to show such level of compassion and love to those undeserving of it.
We are to be the extension of God’s goodness to those around us. We are to be the reflection of God to those dying among us. And we are called to walk and live truthfully in a world where compromise and untruthful behavior are accepted.
So the above scripture underscores the importance of these two elements of our lives as Christians. When and if we live by them, they bring favors to us because favor is not only as a reason of supernatural intervention in your life in such a way that you say wow, never saw that coming.
Favor is also as a result of a lifestyle that prompts people to do things for you because of the way you treat others and the way you handle your life.
I pray that you be a person in whose life the mercy of God is seen and shares with others. I pray your life be full of Truth and that you attract favors by the way you live your life and that people will see how good you are and desire to show you favors and be kind to you because we must reap what we sow.
Yours In Mercy & Truth Always,
Apostle Morgan!
