Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Focus is the key to passion. It determines your attitude and defines your altitude in life. Without it Vision is lost and without it purposes are defeated. However, the object of Focus is another thing, who you look to and focused on determines your inspiration. And defines your Drive and speed in life. The above scripture underscores the importance of focusing on Jesus and it gives us the very reason why we must do so.
1. Jesus is author and Finisher of our Faith. Notice it states that He Jesus begins and ends our Faith, implying that He is the very Expression and Object of our Faith. So we look to Him for He alone knows all that is to be known about our Faith.
2. Jesus has shown us how to fulfill Vision in life or how we can fulfill our life’s Vision. He fulfilled His Vision by way of an attitude called Joy. Joy is the source of Strength and strength is essential for survival and fulfillment in the fight of your life Vision.
What are you focusing on? And who are you focusing on as your source of inspiration? Remember that with God all things are possible and to those who believe nothing shall be impossible.
