Mark 10:15-16Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. [16] And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
The call of Christ to us His Disciples are that of Change and Perception. We are called to perceive things objectively from Gods lenses and to Change our Ways to think Like God.
Secondly, we are called to A Change in Behavior. Here Christ challenges us to receive the Kingdom like unto a Child.
Child like character is necessary for growth and Maturity. Some of such characteristics are.
1. Willingness to forgive one another.
2. Faith in God just as a child has Faith in his or her parents ability to do all things. Notice that your child does not ask you if you can do something, they just tell you what they want and leave you to figure it out. Such Faith is what God wants.
3. Obedience to instruction. Children really like to follow directions and obey naturally. We must obey God in such manner.
4. Loving and friendly. Are we loving and friendly or are we full of grudges and Bitterness.
5. Caring and sharing with others and quick to apologize. The characteristics of a child goes on and on.
So I submit to you, receive the Kingdom as a Child and you will enjoy the Blessings of the Father. Amen.
