Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
We are being expected by the King Himself. We are called and invited by the King Himself. Access is the key to Influence. And we have access to the very Throne Room of God Himself. Now, we must understand why this invitation is given, we are co-partners with God in the great harvest of souls and we must respond by accepting the mercy and grace of God that enables us to accomplish all that God is calling us to do.
The context of the scripture here introduces us to the Truth that we have a great High Priest who have ascended to the heavens, Jesus Christ by whose blood and sacrifice we have been given access to the throne of God. We are told that He Jesus understands us because He has been where we are and knows very well what it means to be human. Now that is one of the amazing things about God. He knows us and understands us very well so He is able to empathize with our weaknesses and frailty in such a way that no one else can ever do.
So you are not coming to one who do not know you or do not know what is going on with you. Know for sure that He sees and knows and He has done something about it already. So come get what He has for you. Such a joy to know and serve God who does such wonderful things for His children. Don’t be overwhelmed by your challenges, look to your faithful High Priest Jesus who lives to intercede for you. Waoooh.
