Serving the Lord is a “Daily Choice”!

Joshua 24:15 (KJV)

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

The call to serving God is not a Forced One. It is an individual choice and it is a willing one. This choice must be made daily by each one who has chosen to be a child of God. It is not a choice that does not come with its challenges; so if and when made, the individual must take into account what it will cost him or her.
Oh but the cost can never be compared with the benefits. It is a blessed thing to choose to serve the Lord. For those who does so are only blessed but they have hope and such natural and heavenly blessings that the world does not know nor can the world give it.
So Joshua makes a profound statement, chose you this day whom you will serve. As for me and my family we will serve the Lord. I call on you to make a daily choice of being on the Lord’s side and enjoy the blessings that comes from doing so. Your day is blessed. Be proud of who you are and speak to others of what you believe. For without convictions, compromise is inevitable.
Shalom,
Apostle Morgan!
