Jesus our HOPE and FUTURE

HEBREWS 3:1-6.
In the first century AD, if you asked a Jewish believer who was “great” in God’s sight, many names would come to mind. Certainly Abraham, the father of the faith, was great. David would probably be mentioned as the great king of Israel. And Joseph saved the line of Abraham from being wiped out by famine.
But the debate would end with Moses. He saved Israel from bondage, guided the people out of Egypt to the Promised Land, received the law, and spoke with God face-to-face.
The writer of Hebrews uses the metaphor of a household to make it clear that Jesus is even greater! Moses is described as a faithful servant in God’s house, but Jesus, on the other hand, is the Son. He holds the position of master over all the servants—even Moses.
The Son will inherit the household something a servant could never aspire to, no matter how noble or important he might be.
What does this means for us? When we place our hope in Christ, “we are God’s house” (3:6). We read that based on our confidence—our trust—“we will share in all that belongs to Christ” (3:14).
We have become God’s children his sons and daughters (John 1:12). As coheirs with Jesus, we not only share in an eternal inheritance, but we also share in his suffering (Rom 8:17).
1. Don’t let the suffering that you face discourage you so much that you think you have displeased God in some way. Rather, see suffering as an opportunity to share in Christ’s suffering, just as we also share in his inheritance as true children of our heavenly Father.
2. Don’t allow the seemingly delayed response from God to shatter your Faith as through what you consider delay, God is building Character in you.
3. Don’t make your common challenges uncommon as though God is allowing what you cannot handle come your way. For in all of these His Glory is being revealed ✨ ♥.
4. Don’t fall to the ungodly notion of comparing your life and situations with that of others, for God understands you and sees you personally 🙏 and is working out exactly what is best for you.
5. Don’t believe the lies of the Devil for he is only interested in deceiving you to believe that God doesn’t love you nor care for you.
Continue your journey in life knowing that Jesus is your moment, Your Future and Hope.
Shalom.
