Proverbs 18:24 (KJV)
A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
The value and importance of friendship is undeniable true in our lives. However, we must as well take to account our roles and responsibilities in making friendship last and fruitful. Friends are influences and they are inspirators. The value of true friendship is that it adds to your life and improves the quality of your social, economic, and spiritual life.
We must show ourselves friendly; meaning we must be true to those whom we claim to have friendship with. We must be loyal and honest with our friends and above all there must be mutual beneficial contributions made by both sides to each other.
God sends and directs your way and steps to true loyal and honest friends. They are in so many ways Angels of Destiny for you. If you are alone in life and lacking good friends, ask God but be open to be friendly yourself.
In every season of life you will encounter friends but not all will last. So it is imperative you know how to let go when it is time to do so but in a godly manner. When doors of friendship are close due to pride and arrogant behavior, opportunities are lost because one of the mandates of godly friendship is to help you walk into opportunities and to inspire you to greatness.
Learn to honor true friends and respect true friends. They do not come by just like that, they are God sent. You are Blessed and Highly Favored.
Shalom,
Apostle Morgan.
