We are His creation, the crown jewel of His creation

Genesis 1:27 (KJV)

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Of all the controversies in the world, one that has impacted the human race immensely is evolution. The theory that humans evolved and that we are not the creation of God. It is the basis of all individualism and its impact on life. The consequences of believing evolutionary theories are yet to be fully comprehended. And yet the Bible simply stated that God Almighty is the creator of all things and when you believe God to be who He revealed Himself to be, then it is not a thing to wonder and question how did He create the world.

Creation itself expresses the majestic splendor of The King. We are His creation, the crown jewel of His creation. In His image and likeness are we created. We are created to do His will. To honor and worship God. To live and love as He does. To show forth His glory. We are created to rule on His behalf over all creation and indeed no other creation has any inclination as to the capacity with which we are created. We have exhibited and continues to do, mastery of the universe. We have explored known and unknown worlds. Our intelligence and capabilities are incomparable with any other creation. Yet, mankind in their foolishness and darkened minds question the very core of their uniqueness, their creation by the God of the universe. As believers, fundamental to all we believe is that God created us.

The benefits of believing in creationism as the Bible reveals it to be is enormous:

  1. We stand to fully walk in the fullness of our God-ordained capacities.
  2. We understand and value the very essence of purpose.
  3. We appreciate the very essence of destiny and design. Who we are meant to be and where we are meant to go.
  4. We come to the full realization of our innate nature, of love, kindness, generosity, forgiveness, grace, mercy, truth, trust, and of all the communicable attributes of God we possess.
  5. We understand the very essence of our creation and existence – To worship God and to reveal His glory.
  6. We come to understand and appreciate the place of accountability and responsibility as essential elements of life. We are created to be accountable and responsible to God, oneself and one another. We are not freelancing in life without values or morals and no sense of purpose nor direction.

We are God’s creation with purpose, destiny, dignity, and glory. We have hope because life does not just end here. When we understand these, fruitfulness becomes that which we are passionate about and are willing to be fully engaged to be fruitful in all aspects of our lives. You are called to be fruitful and fruitful you are. For the power of the curse has been broken.

Shalom,

Apostle Morgan.
