By Grace we are saved, through faith…………….

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Salvation is based on the finished work of Christ. We receive the gift of eternal life by grace through the finished work of Christ. We are recipients of God’s goodness and grace because we did not naturally qualify for anything that God has but by His love and mercy, He brought us into His family. That we who were separated from Him have become the people of God. That we who were lost in sin and trespasses are now redeemed, forgiven, and justified by grace.

So we must understand that it has always been on the basis of love and mercy. The grace of God is His unmerited favor bestowed upon an undeserving people like us. So there is no basis of boosting when it comes to who and what we become in God.
Grace is available to all mankind but not all have embraced this grace. If it is of His grace, then we must continue by grace. Grace drew us into this love relationship and we are called upon by embrace this grace by faith. So when you look at your life see the grace of God. You can’t please God by your own works nor can you do anything in the kingdom of God by your own natural goodness. It is the grace of God that brings us to the place of obedience but we must learn to appreciate this grace by how we live our lives and how we honor God.
Grace is not a license for sin nor is it a basis of ingratitude as many may have come to believe. Oh, it is all by grace, they state as though grace has taken away the need for holiness and righteousness. No, grace instead is an enabler in the sense that by and through the grace of God we can obey God and walk with the Holy Spirit. So when you understand grace, your life changes because grace is transformative.
Let us be a people of grace and understand the goodness of God bestowed upon us by His grace. You are blessed and highly favored.
Shalom,
Apostle Morgan.
