Matthew 12:18 (KJV)
Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
You are the chosen one of God. His choice of you was before you were conceived in your mother’s womb. He knew you before anything about you came to be, Psalm 139 vs.12 – 17. It is, therefore, imperative that as you look at yourself, you must see the hand of God in your life.
The Lord knows you completely, and His commitment to you is based on whom He has ordained you to be and not what you have done or the lack thereof. As the chosen of the Lord, you are a blessed person. Heaven is ever committed to your success, but you must as well believe in yourself.
Many are the voices of the past that seeks to destroy you by speaking to you about where you been and by bringing shame and guilt, but remember that if you are in Christ and you are chosen of God, there is no more condemnation against you Romans 8 vs. 1. As the chosen of the Lord, your ways are ways of peace and joy. As the chosen of God, He has called you unto a higher calling that through you, His purposes will prosper and that through you, He will execute justice in the world.
So I say to you arise and stop listening to the voice of self-defeat, the voice of fear and self-loathing. Stop listening to the voice of self-pity and stand up, shake the shackles off your feet and say to yourself: I CAN, I WILL, I MUST. God is for me, who can be against me. Remember that it is only you that can be against yourself. You are blessed and highly favored.
