Renew Your Mind and Walk by the Spirit of God

Romans 8:6 (KJV)

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Our minds are the centerpiece of all battles and victories.  All that happens within us and that which we express outwardly,  is as a result of the condition of the mind. Who is ruling your mind? What is controlling your mind? Where is your mind fixed?
You see the Bible is very practical and the application of it rightly is the key to healthy living and daily victory.
You can’t be allowing ungodly things to rule your mind or heart. The above scripture underscores the needs to have our minds be ruled by the Spirit as against it being ruled by the flesh. The flesh is speaking about the human nature without God and the sensual nature of our constitution.
What we feel, test, touch, smell,  and handle.  Not that these are ungodly in themselves,  but they are not subject naturally to the Holy Spirit until we train and bring our sensual nature to the rulership of the Holy Spirit.  They are naturally prone to be ruled by sinful nature and appetites.  So we are to live a life that is not feeling driven not that we don’t feel but we are to subject each feeling to the word of God and rulership of the Holy Spirit.
However,  when our minds are ruled by the Holy Spirit,  we enjoy peace,  happiness,  joy, and such inner strength that only comes from God.  You are by very constitution a Spirit Being.  Therefore,  allow yourself to be ruled by the Holy Spirit which means that your daily interactions with life are done from the vintage of God’s Word, the leadership of the Holy Spirit and the Conviction of the Holy Spirit.  When our minds are ruled by the Holy Spirit,  we love one another naturally.
We are full of kindness,  Grace,  mercy and Goodness.  We are full of gratitude and thankfulness.  We are God centric in all our actions and words.  Friendships are more God driven rather than self driven.  In fact,  we are in all things reflections of Christ. Remember that you are Blessed and Highly Favored.
Shalom,
Apostle Morgan
