Matthew 6:3-4
But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
I want to focus my exhortation today briefly on the phrase ” Your Father who Sees in Secret “.
This implies that God sees and knows all secrets especially the ones we may have done for others who never thought of saying thank you or even turned to betrayal your love and kindness. For you to continue to do good even when you have been treated badly, you must know and accept in your heart that God sees all things and that He will reward you openly.
Therefore resolve to be
1. Focused on God not men.
2. To do good without Expectations from people.
3. To find joy in doing good for the sake of the opportunity to do so.
4. To keep your heart pure from Bitterness.
5. To know and accept it is more blessed to give than to receive.
I pray for you this today that you will not grow weary in doing good. Be encouraged by the fact that God sees what you do.
