The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Safety and Protection is one of the most founded aspect of any good government. Millions and billions are spent from governmental and nonGovernmental organizations yearly in security measures. Individually, we seek to do all within our power to be save and to secure the things that are of importance to us. So humanly speaking, safety and security or protection is one thing that is central to our wellbeing.
But, we can attest that even in the most presumed secured environments, often such high level of security has been breached. Lives lost, property stolen and hearts broken. So we must then ask, how and where can we be safe? The Bible answers it. The name of the LORD is a place of safety, security, and protection. It is a fortress to those who run into it. Meaning those who identify themselves with God by way of surrendering their lives to Him have by that act insured the security, safety, and protection of their lives.
How then does God provide security, Safety and protection?
1. He lead you in the way you should go. Those that have learned to obey and follow the voice of God are never defeated nor destroyed.
2. He gives you wisdom on how to deal with life’s problems and how to interact in environments that are life threatening.
3. He gives His angels charge over you and they are committed to protecting you from all evil.
4. He surrounds you with godly friends and people who became a wall of protection to you and by their counsel you are able to make wise and safe decisions that ensures your protection.
5. He leads you by the Holy Spirit. And when you follow, Psalm 23 becomes a reality in your life.
6. He illuminates your heart, mind, and Spirit to know the times and seasons you are living in and what to do. In other words, He gives you understanding for life issues and how to handle it.
So running into God for safety and security or protection requires obedience from your part and require faith and trust from you. Know that your Safety, Security and Protection is in the First To Priority of Heaven. You are Blessed and Highly Favored.
