Proverbs 15:1 (NIV)
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
One of the keys to victory in life is the choice of words. It is so critical that Jesus established in Matthew 12 vs. 36 – 37. That it is the basis of justification or condemnation. How we speak and what we speak is important in the health of our relationship. It defines us, oh he is always angry and speaks so angrily people say of someone.
To be gentle in words does not mean weakness but it is strength instead. It reveals self control and inner discipline. The only way to speak in such manner is when the Holy Spirit is in control of your thoughts and imaginations.
For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Don’t destroy your destiny by your words. Don’t kill your relationship with your words.
Don’t create an environment of hostility within your environment of interact by your words. Be a healer by your words. Be a restorer by your words. Be a peace maker by your words. God is able to make All Grace abound unto you.
Be blessed.
