Trusting God Nevertheless

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego proclaimed to King Nebuchadnezzar that their Lord could rescue them, but their faith in God did not depend on being rescued. Their words, “But even if he doesn’t” (3:18) affirmed their faith in a God whose ways are not our ways (Isa 55:9).
Our Faith in God is and may be challenged in ways that places us in positions that confronts all we have believed about God.
For some, the diagnosis of a disabling condition can feel like being thrown into a fire that could consume the life they once knew.
It can cause us to question our faith. Do we still believe God is able to deliver us? If God has the power to remove suffering but chooses not to, can we trust his sovereignty and goodness?
Faith that is solely based 🙏on practical manifestation of God’s power, may cause struggles or challenge of Faith, since God in His Sovereignty answers 🙏our prayers 🙏and Respond to our Faith in ways that please Him.
When parents of a special needs child receive a life-altering diagnosis, they may ask, “Do we believe that God can heal our child; do we have enough faith?” If God does not bring physical healing, they may struggle, asking, “Do we need more faith?”
Reflect on this Story:
When Ashley received the diagnosis of her son’s rare genetic disorder, she knew life would never be the same.
But God met her in her fear and sadness and slowly began to reveal his presence in small ways.
Ashley’s heart began to trust that having a child with special needs was not going to destroy her faith. She prayed for more confidence to trust God. She clung to the hope that even if the circumstances weren’t what she would have chosen for her child, God would keep them on the best path for their lives.
Ashley also prayed that others would see God’s sustaining presence through her family.
Where does your heart go when God does not rescue you from difficult circumstances?
Question?:
Do you run toward fear and doubt, or do you turn to God?
Remember, you are never alone God is with you. Walk your uphill journey by faith with this motto: “But even if he doesn’t, I will trust in his goodness and love.”
As we journey daily over this side of life, we need Active Faith, which is Faith in the Nature,  Character of God as well as in His Promises.
Prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.

Show me in ways I can understand that you are with me. I rest in your unfailing love ❤. Amen 🙏.
