You have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.Galatians 5:13.
In the eternal purpose of God, freedom is designed to be understood and applied in ways that are both honoring of God and serving of others.
Understanding the divine purposes unto which we have been freed in Christ should be central to our spiritual growth, for then we will indeed be freed indeed. Because, ignorance of the purpose of Freedom leads to abuse and Self Enslavement.
We must learn to accept the servant attitude of Christ. When you and your spouse serve each other, you both become winners 🏆 💛💛💛 in a healthy Relationships.
So serving others in Love 😍🥰 does constitute a positive use of Freedom.
Finding opportunities to do what is honoring 🎖 to God in everything you do, does constitute a positive use of Freedom.
Those who are free are not slaves to Self, Anyone, or Anything. Rather, they are free to serve and honor 🎖God in the use of their talents, gifts 🎁and skills.
In any relationship dynamics one thing that encourages service is the expression of appreciation. Has your spouse, coworkers, child, friends served you in some way this week?
Think! Has he or she taken out the trash, cooked a meal, washed dishes, mowed the grass, changed the baby’s diaper, or washed the dog or helped out in work related assignments?
If so, why not express your gratitude? You might say, “You know, I didn’t tell you this earlier, but I really appreciate your washing the dog or anything that he or she has done that constitute an act of honor and service.
That is something that I find to be one way to encourage Freedom in service and Relationships.
Look for something your spouse or people in your life has done for you and express appreciation.
Then do something good for your spouse, Child, friends or co-workers – Mutual service and mutual appreciation lead to a greater expression of Freedom in service.
Once we understand the purpose of Freedom, we are truly blessed and freed indeed 🙏🙌.
And it is in giving our lives away to each other that we discover the joy of service.
