The understanding of Scriptures allows us to position ourselves to practical truths and life changing dispositions necessary for a godly daily walk in the Spirit.
Emotions are unspoken languages that affects people in ways that most of us have not come to fully articulate.
Every Emotional Expression you have has a corresponding response or reaction from others as well as an internal reaction within yourself.
It is therefore imperative that you consciously reflect and think through how you use your emotional language and what impact it is intended to have both on yourself and others.
God created you an emotional being and it is not sinful to express your feelings or emotions but to be controlled by them in any way that is harmful to you and others, is therefore, a wrong use of your emotions.
Emotions conveys power and influence. It is not just one aspect of your constitution that has no relevance. It is a source of influence and impact.
Gal 5 vs. 16 is the key to healthy emotional lifestyle. Because, when your emotional energy is submitted to the Holy Spirit, it produces godly results.
The idea of being driven by feelings and negative emotions is foreign to the Believer. We are new creation in Christ and the Life we now live, we live in the Spirit of the Resurrected Christ who conforms us to the image and likeness of the Son.
Allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal those negative emotions and feelings is the first place to begin.
Agreeing with the Holy Spirit to be Illuminated by the word of God and being willing to be Transformed by the Word is of utmost importance.
Practically walking in the Spirit is essential and being willing to judge the intentions and motives of the use of your Emotions is where liberation occurs.
Don’t deny yourself of your true nature but don’t be ruled by its negative impulses.
All things submitted to the Holy Spirit becomes instruments of Righteousness.
Resolve to be the change you pray for.
Shalom
