Psalm 59:16 (KJV)
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble
In all matters of Life, approach is critical to outcomes. When we learn how to approach things, situations, circumstances, and much more God in the right way, we create the desired outcome.
Approach is key to audience. People can’t listen to you when your approach is irrational, judgmental, critical, insulting, or overreaching. So, it becomes a thing of necessity that as people of God we allow the Holy Spirit mold in us the right attitude that is needed at all times in approaching things in life.
Approach determines response and impacts on emotions. So also when it comes to God, we must learn how to approach Him in order to gain His attention . Yes, God is our Father but He deserves our reverence and honor as we approach His Throne of Grace. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His court with praise. Say of the Lord He is Good and His mercies endure forever. Praise is the verbalization of our gratitude to God. It is the declaration of our heart as to who we know God to be and what we have seen Him do. It is the outpouring of our love to God with words of adoration.
Praise is one central approach we must take when God is in involved in the equation. Praise is not singing nor is singing praise. People sing but they are not praising God. We must understand that praise is and should not be contingent upon our emotions and feelings but it should be a condition of the heart that we consistently exhibit in our approach to God especially in the most difficult and challenging moments of our lives.
Praise is a weapon of warfare, it moves God to attend to your issues. It is a Soulish Therapy, for it renews the condition of the soul. It is a spiritual ointment that refreshes the Spirit and enlightens the heart. Those that approach God by it never regret doing so for it opens the doors of divine faithfulness and favors for them. Learn to approach God rightly and you will not regret doing so. You are blessed and highly favored.
Shalom,
Apostle Morgan
