There are times in life we come to the place where we are overwhelmed, beaten down, and everything seems to work against us. Our view of life becomes that which is shadow driven as we are fogged by the invisibilities caused by the Storms of life.
We come to those moments that the Psalmist declared in Psalm 42 ” Why are you cast down oh my soul?” For the enemy ask me day and night ” Where is your God?” David stated ” When I think of these things, I am overwhelmed.
When life’s storms and burden is too heavy to bear and the ability to see beyond the moment is the current reality, cry out to God ” Hide by the Rock that is higher than I”.
Agree that there are times all you can do is to sit at the foot of the Cross. Gaze upon Him who died for you. Understand His heart and love for you when the voice of Darkness seems to be too loud.
Life is real and the challenges are real, but we have an Anchor ⚓️ Jesus Christ who ever lives to make intercession for us.
We have the Comfort of the Scriptures by which we can find strength through the recorded Faithfulness of God in the lives of others.
Let us learn to embrace Pain for what it is, opportunity for refining us and giving us sights into the depths of God that otherwise we would never come to.
Learn to hold on to God’s unchanging hands and rest at the foot of the Cross ✝️. For therein, your healing and safety is grantee.
Resolve to be the change you pray for. Shalom.
