The Lord My Redeemer, My Deliverer, My Restorer!
In 1980 I was blessed to become a mother and have a beautiful little girl. And the Lord blessed again with another girl and a boy after 10 years. But the enemy – satan crept into my life and had his hook in me. He robbed me of my dignity, integrity, self-respect, morals, and values. By now my experiment with alcohol, marijuana, and occasionally snorting cocaine had grown to heroin. One day I remembered my mother saying “girl, you got to pray.” Mama would say, “with God all things are possible.”
In April of 2001, I cried out to the Lord with a loud voice, he heard my cry and delivered me. God brought a woman of God named Teacher Cole, who loved me in spite of me. I asked Him in his infinite mercy to take the taste of drugs out of my mouth. Jesus did it! It was a miracle! In July of the same year, I gave my life to Jesus, who is my Lord. During this amazing experience, my children also came to know God, love God, and experience their own awakening of the Love and amazingness of God.
I am thankful for this ministry, my Pastors and spiritual parents, Morgan Ikonne, and Jennifer Ikonne. I thank God richly for their labor of love and sacrifice. I and my Children are blessed beyond measures and VICTORY is our portion. Forever Grateful to Jesus. Yvette Chase.
