1 Corinthians 10:12-13 KJV
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. [13] There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
One of the most difficult things we Humans often struggle with is ” Appraisal of Self or Honest Self Evaluation “.
We consider it out of place to think something is wrong with us that needs correction – For the ways of Each Individual seems right to him or her.
The challenge with such disposition is that it Hinders organic growth. It makes it impossible for true change to occur.
The Bible calls us to Honest self Appraisal and to understand that such enables us to know where we stand. For until you know your true State, you cannot make the right choice of improvements or correction.
The consequences of this is that old habits lingers and we become vulnerable to fall back again and again to Temptations.
To true have a solid foundation in life that ensures continuous growth, you need to accept the necessity of Honest Self Appraisal. And do so on the standard of TRUTH.
Stay open to the Voice of the Holy Spirit and to godly wisdom, allowing those with insight consistent with TRUTH to correct you in love 💛💛💛.
You see, each day provides you the opportunity to grow and be better but it all depends on your choice. God desires that you stay Victorious 🙏🙌in all you do but it requires your collaboration and partnership with the Holy Spirit.
Do not allow self or pride and unhealthy ego to stop you but be open and be humble 💯.
