The Bible presents patterns of living in such a way that we are without excuse as to what and how we ought to live our lives.
It is imperative that as Believers we choose the way of God and understand that Motives are judged by God. The above scripture underscores the need for you to judge why and how you do things in life.
Strive and vainglory are killers of interpersonal relationships and unity. The set self above corporate good and causes the one who live by them to be blinded to the needs of others around him or her. Humility promotes oneness and unity. It creates an environment of cooperation and teamwork. I pray you stay in tune with the Holy Spirit as He is the true judge of intentions and motives.
