Joshua 1:7 KJVOnly be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
At the core of the cross is Obedience. Obedience to the will of the Father and a full commitment to the plan of God. There is no where in the Kingdom that anyone has accomplished anything without obedience.
We see the glory of when we obey. Our ways are open for blessings by obedience. God takes pleasure in us because of obedience. The power of possession is made manifest because of obedience. It is the key to peace and harmony in any relationship with God and one another.
God spoke to Joshua and commanded him that the only way to succeed in his calling is by obedience. God said to him my presence is going to be available to you if you obey me. Notice that every promise and blessing are tied to obedient.
People let stop fooling ourselves and thinking that God will change His ways to accommodate us, no if it will work, it all depends on obedience. Are you an obedient child of God? Do you obey pleasurably when you hear the voice of God? In this Easter and throughout every season in life, it’s all about obedience.
