John 13:34 (KJV)
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
As we continue to count down to Easter, it is imperative we reflect on the very events that took place before the crucifixion of Christ – especially His Last words and actions. The above scripture underscores the importance of loving one another and Christ Himself demonstrated how true love is seen and shown.
1. In true heart of service.
2. In pure selflessness and humility.
3. In sharing precious moments with those we love.
4. In non-judgmental attitudes toward those who are in the wrong but by acts of love draw them back to God.
5. In serving one another with joy and not being position minded but rather taking the form of a servant for the greater good of the Kingdom.
The question is then, do I truly love as Christ does? Have I been so offended that my heart is too wounded to let go? What does the pain of offense do to my heart as it relates to being able to love others? May the Lord heal and deliver those whose heart are wounded. May He by the Holy Spirit teach us how to love daily.
In Love,
Apostle Morgan!
