Living for God is much more than answering the name a ” Christian ✝️ ” or belonging to a local church. Living for God is a daily commitment to being the Living, talking and acting expression of God who is full of mercy , Grace and truth.
Mercy and truth are virtues that must be defining attributes of our lives. By mercy we relate in love, forgiveness and kindness towards those undeserving of such from us.
Mercy shows up for those who have done wrong intentionally against us with love and kindness. We act towards them with grace and generosity even when they push back on it.
Mercy is the key to loving the unlovable. Mercy allows you to see people irrespective of who they are and where they stand with the eyes of God’s purposes in their lives and not how they are presenting in their current state.
Truth is essential for our human interaction as we can only live convictionally when we live by truth. If we are ever going to change or impact people for God and the kingdom, we must be a people who live truthfully.
Speaking the truth in love is essential for a healthy interpersonal relationships. Lies destroys relationship because its source is of the Evil one who comes but to steal, kill, and destroy.
Truth builds up and truth strengthen your relationship for by truth you reflect the character and nature of God in all you do.
