Life’s Nuggets For Living:
Prophetic Words and the Spirit of Discernment – Prophetic words or prophecies are meant to bring – Edification which is to build you up like in the sense of how a builder follows the architectural blueprint of a design and systematically builds according to that blueprint and the final result or outcomes are what the designer has in mind.
The tool of Edification is the Word of God and the mechanism of building is Grace.
The Foundation is Christ and the structure is the Finished Work 🙌 on the Cross ✝️.
The second purpose of Prophetic Word is – Comfort meaning that the Prophetic elemen of ministry and preaching is to bring about Renewal or Revival in your Spirit.
It is to spur you to Hope and to strengthen your Faith especially when you are in deep turmoil or when life’s challenges 🙏 are overwhelming.
It is meant to inspire you to the possibilities in God and bring you out of Darkness into the marvelous ✨️ Light of God’s Love ❤️ and Grace for you.
The Comfort element of the Prophetic is derived from the Word of God and the assurance 🙏 of the Promises of God.
The Comforting of the Prophetic is designed to boost your Faith and encourage your heart ❤️ to see the love ❤️ and care ❤️ of God for you which has been demonstrated in Christ and His finished work ❤️ on the Cross ✝️.
The testimonies of what God has done for others, especially as recorded in the Bible and evidenced in real life situations 🙏 of others becomes one of the ways you are comforted.
The third element of the Prophetic is Rebuke – meaning that God through the Holy Spirit Rebukes or Corrects you by His Word and creates in you through that Rebuke the Convictions necessary for Repentance.
This is done in Love and by the agency of the Word of God. It is meant to challenge you to desire the best of God for you.
It is intended to spur you to walking 🚶♂️ worthy of the call of God in your life and the purposes of God unto which you are called.
Therefore, the Spirit of Discernment or Discernment of Spirit’s which is the function of the Spirit of Christ the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of Illumination and the Spirit of the Word helps you discern if the Prophetic words you have received measures to the Divine Rubric – Which is the Glorification of Christ.
Now, remember that the Prophetic if of God is Divine and often may not align with Human Reasoning or Logic.
But, it transcends time and Human capacity to rationalize. It is imperative that you:
Pray 🙏 and Respond to the Prophetic by the Convictions of the Holy Spirit 🙏
Search the Word of God to know if those things spoken are consistent with the Nature and Character of God. His promises and His ways.
Accept the Love ❤️ of God for you in Christ and know that God cannot act contrary to His Love for you as such He will stand by what Christ has done already for you on the Cross.
Avoid staying in the realms of Logic and Intellectualism and Rationalization of things – instead allow yourself to transcend into the Realms of Faith and the supernatural.
Resolve to be an amazing Helper 👏 to someone else this year.
