Philippians 2:3-4 KJV
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. [4] Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
There are expectations and manner of behaviors that are exclusively designed to be the Identity of the Community of the Spirit.
God expects us to act and behave lovingly 💛💛 toward one another and to carry on our services toward one another in the spirit of Joy and Humility.
Strive or quarreling is not a behavior expected amongst those who are of the Community of the Spirit. We are to serve not for Self Glory but for the Glory of God.
If we truly understand the heart ❤ of God for the Community of the Spirit, our approach towards one another will change 🙏.
The challenge is that we are tied up with Self and a mindset that is unrenewed so we are in the Community of the Spirit and yet think like the World 🌎 we live in as though we are of this World.
Renewing of the Mind Daily? ” Romans 12 vs. 1-2″ therefore become the only pathway to newness of life as God would expect.
If we don’t see each other as God sees them, we create an image that hinders us from relating with fellow Believers as God would have us relate.
” Let each one Not Only think of himself or herself but think of the welfare of Others”.
Yes, you are allowed to think of yourself but don’t be so Self Absorbed that Selfishness becomes your Identity. Rather, think of yourself in the measure of Grace given to you and know that you are a member of another and you are not just existing for yourself.
Intentionally look for ways to be a blessing 🙌 to others. Seek out opportunities of services. Be available. Be dependable. Be reliable. Be present in people’s lives and be consistent as our Father God is. Let His character and Nature of love ❤ and Faithfulness within you break Forth in all you do.
Love ❤ the Community of the Spirit and truly be one who is involved in the affairs of this Community for therein is your Identity.
