Godly thoughts produce a godly lifestyle

Isaiah 56:6-7 (KJV)

Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

Our passion in life is often seen by what we pursue vigorously. It is demonstrated in the things that matter most to us and in the value, we place on such things. Let us look at seeking God: to seek God is not only an act of prayer, or when we attend religious events and occasions such as Sunday service or Bible study.

God is a deliberate and determined commitment by someone in whose heart, a continuous relationship with God is paramount.

Furthermore, God is to develop a God centric disposition. Meaning that God comes first in all I do. My mind is wrapped up in following God. My decisions and choices are reflective of my heart for God and doing things His ways.

However, in seeking God, the Bible admonishes us to do so timely and heartily. We are also admonished to turn from our wicked ways. I know that today in so many churches, the idea of repentance is foreign because many are teaching a gospel of Grace without responsibility and a gospel of Grace that denies the very call to righteousness and holiness.

People, Christ did not come to change the very nature of God, rather He came to reveal it to us and to make a way for us to be forgiven. The way and manner you seek God is much more important than anything you can think of. We are admonished to forsake our unrighteous thoughts. Change the way you think and the way you behave will change. Thoughts are the very foundation of life.

Remember that you can only be fruitful by seeding the word of God in your heart. The commandment to be fruitful is real but your actions are necessary for you to truly be fruitful. You are blessed beyond the curse and the power of the curse is broken. Arise and seek God and you will be found of Him.

Shalom,

Apostle Morgan.
