Proverbs 28:18 (KJV)Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
There are many things that are a defense for those who live by them. God provides us with sound information as to what we can do to better our lives here on earth. We are not left without a witness as to what God expects of us and how we ought to live our lives for our own benefits.
To walk upright means to do things the RIGHT WAY. To live righteously. To be upstanding and to have integrity in our affairs. It is therefore imperative that we know that how we live our lives and what we do matters. Our defense in life from negative consequences and evil are tied to our daily activities and actions.
As a child of God know that God is committed to protecting you but He requires that you do the right thing. Do right with people. Be a person of integrity. Let your words and actions represent the God you profess. Be kind to others and intentionally do what is right. Let not your walk be in falsehood. For when you live a life of uprightness, you shall not fall.
