We live in a world where the concept of love is so much misconstrued that it seems to have lost it true meaning. Most of the wrongs that people do, are done to those whom they claimed to love. It leaves one with the impression that love in its purist form may no longer exist.
However, true love does exist and it is not just an action or words that people say, true love is a Person and that person is Jesus Christ. He is love personified, in all of His nature and actions, Jesus Christ is the Revelation of God’s Love to humanity. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son ( John 3 vs. 16).
In Jesus physical expression of Love especially in the story of the Woman caught in adultery, Jesus displayed two fundamental nature of true love # Gentleness and Humility, which was seen in Jesus mannerisms, action and words.
True love is gentle and humble. When you encounter anyone who claims to love but is full of self and pride, that individual have not yet known what true love is all about.
Gentleness is how we do things while Humility is the manner in which we do what we do. True love requires both to function.
True love is gentle and humble in its expression and take care of people in ways that reflect values placed on them.
Do you truly love? Do you love in Humility and Gentleness?
Are your love action carried out in Gentleness and Humility?
Do you speak and act in way that reflects the values you placed on those whom you claimed to love?
