Romans 10:9 (KJV)
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
The Kingdom of God works by principles and understanding those principles are critical to fulfillment in life. The above scripture underscores two essential principles of the kingdom. These principles are central to salvation and continuity of blessedness in life. The first is the principle of heart beliefs.
What you believe in your heart informs your thoughts and your actions. Our heart believes are essential to all we do in life. Relationships are forged or destroyed by reason of heart beliefs. We are defeated or are victorious over all life circumstances by virtue of heart beliefs. So what do you believe in your heart?
The second principle is that of the confession of the mouth.
Confessions are not just mere speeches but are the creative force of Life. It is the source of inner motivation and inspiration. It fosters the environment of possibilities.
It is spiritual and determines the spiritual atmosphere you live in. By it, victory is won or lost. So your heart beliefs and your mouth confession are two keys to blessedness and fulfillment in life. Learn to allow the Holy Spirit determine both principles in your life.
