Proverbs 16:20 KJV
He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.
Often in life it is what has happened or what we are confronted with that poses the greatest challenge, rather it is how we approach it.
Approach is the element by which or upon which all matters are either resolved or exacerbated. One thing about approach is the preconceived disposition of the Heart ❤.
When you are faced with a challenge, what your disposition is towards that challenge will determine how you will approach it and ultimately determine the outcome.
Meaning that if we can find ways to have a ” Possibility and Faith Disposition ” that are anchored on Truth, Love, the inherent goodness of others, and a deep desire to have favorable results, we will be able to navigate life without much negative outcome.
In order to do this, each individual must challenge their preconceived notions about Life in general, their world 🌎view, and their personality disposition towards others.
Until we confront how we see things ourselves, we cannot change the outcome or have a different outcome.
So the writer of Proverbs states ” The individual who handles a Matter wisely, will find good” implications being that:
A. Wisdom must be the governing Disposition of the heart ❤ if you are to get a favorable outcome in life. Wisdom is the principle thing and by it kings Rule and by it Life is lived to the fullness. If you lack it, ask God who gives it freely. Accept Christ who is the Wisdom of God.
B. Choice is fundamentally a critical element. How do you choose to respond or react? For it is not giving to you to determine what comes to you in life but it is given to you to choose how you respond to it. Choice of words, choice of course of action, Choice of Faith or Unbelief, Choice of disposition and Choice of who you get involved are absolutely your to make. And when you do, remember that you no longer has the choice of outcome or consequences.
So, if you handle a matter wisely, you will find good.
