Being Fruitful in Christ; A Blessing to Others

Matthew 7:17-20 (KJV)

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

We are created to be fruitful.  The question however is what type of fruits are we bearing? Fruit is symbolically used here to depict the quality of life we leave and the characteristic by which we are known.
Fruit serves two major purposes:
1. Fruit attracts by its beauty.
2. Fruit is delicious and helps in improving the quality of life of those who eat it.
Now, when we consider the above inference,  we come to the conclusion that when Jesus spoke about fruit and how fruit bearing stems from the kind of tree or source, it is important that we ask, where are we planted? What kind of tree are we made of? You see when and if we are joined to the True Vine John 15 vs. 1 – 7. We are going to bear good fruit and our lives will be such a blessing to those around us.
We be a beautiful and attractive persons whose always helps others by the way we live and by our interactions with them.  But if we are not joined to Christ or we are joined to Him and yet unfruitful,  then we are unprofitable to others.
Remember that you bear fruit for others and not for yourself.  When and if we bear the following fruit, our lives then become a centerpiece of attraction and we become such a blessing to others.
1. The Fruit of love.
2. The fruit of mercy and grace towards others.
3. The fruit of kindness and goodness.
4. The fruit of patience and loyalty.
5. The fruit of righteous and truth.
We have the capacity,  we  are always bearing fruit,  so let stay joined to the good source and let bear the good fruit.  For unto such have we been called.  You are blessed and highly favored.

Shalom,

Apostle Morgan
