Love is an enabler of good deeds

Hebrews 10:24 (KJV)

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

To be a Christian or rather a believer is not just by attending church or belonging to any religious organization. It is more than that; believers are those in whose heart and life Christ lives as Savoir and LORD. So when one states that he or she is now in Christ it would imply that such an individual has come to accept the Word of God as the basis of his or her life standards.

It means that such a person is ready to please God by obedience to the commands and instructions of God through the enabling power of the Holy Spirit. One of such commandments is that we believers are to motivate one another unto love or to provoke one another unto love.

What Does that mean?

  1. It means that I am graced by God and carry the potential with the help of the Holy Spirit to impact and influence you unto love.
  2. Each believer should live their lives in such a way that their actions and words provoke love in others. Meaning you can’t truly be a believer and you sow seeds of disunity and confusion in the life of others.
  3. It means that my ways as a believer challenge you to be better and do better.
  4. It means that I do not fuel evil and bitterness amid others by my actions or deeds
  5. It means that my words inspire you to see good in others and to act right by them.
  6. It means that I love you so much so that I correct you in love to be your best and do your best. True love corrects and does not cover up wrongdoing but in so doing it helps the individual to understand a better way of living.
  7. It means I come alongside you to enable you to do the right thing and to grow in God. For true love leads to growth.

So we need to see what we carry inside of us and what we are called to do and to be if we desire to be fruitful. Fruitfulness is the end product of living a life full of love.

Love is an enabler of good deeds. So love as Christ loves, help and enables others to see the value of love. Walk with them until they can love as Christ loves. Such are fruits you and I are called to bear. Remember that you are called to be fruitful and fruitful you are for the power of the curse has been broken.

Shalom,

Apostle Morgan.
