Cry Unto the Lord!

Psalm 42:5-6 (KJV)
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. [6] O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar.
The psalmist was a man who understood the place of prayer and of sincerity in crying out to God in prayers.
Many at times in our journey,  we are confronted by circumstances and situations that weigh down on us so much so that our soul becomes weary and tired.  And the challenge with A soulish pain and turmoil is that No medical remedies exist for its healing.  Only God can heal the soulish pain and sorrow.  So the psalmist cries out to God.
Have you learned how to cry out to God and know for sure He alone Can heal the brokenness of your Soul?
One other thing the psalmist brings to us is the understanding that when in soulish pain.  We must remember where God has brought us from and what He has done for us in the past.
So I encourage you take a moment and reflect on your journey with God and speak to your Soul. It is part of the Journey to have soulish pains and sorrow but don’t sit on it. Cry out something happens when you genuinely cry out to God.
Shalom.
